The use of modern technological tools in language teaching at Sudanese basic education: (A case study of grade seven)

Abstract
The study aimed to use modern technological tools inside the classroom, the use of power point in teaching vocabulary and the use of YouTube in teaching storytelling so as to enhance learning process at basic education grade seven. The method of collecting data is a questionnaire for eighty teachers of basic education in Khartoum North. The researcher used SPSS to analyze the collected data. The findings of this paper showed that using modern technological tools is a successful technique to improve learners' learning ability, face book is one of the most positive tool in bringing culture into the classroom, storytelling should be supplementary reading material beside the curriculum, training for teachers in teaching strategies as well as to identify them to deal with technology.
