The use of myths in Ruskin Bond’s short-stories

Abstract
Ruskin Bond has used myths in his short stories. Myths of Ruskin Bond present different religions. His myths also convey the message of protection of environment and natural life. He is proponent of Indian tradition and environment. Myths of Ruskin Bond are conveying the message of India’s religions, mentality of people and their respect for creatures and environment. Indian people worship creatures as the essence of God.
